Do you want to join a friendly firm that considers you as a distinct human being and offers you the opportunity to work within a team?

Do you want to discover a firm geared towards the future and the world, and which offers numerous career advancement opportunities?

Then join IFP SCHOOL and be sponsored by AXENS!

Established in 2001, Axens is a subsidiary of IFP Energies nouvelles. An international supplier of technologies, products and services for transforming oil, gas, biomass and coal into clean fuels, Axens combines the friendliness of a company on a human scale with the reach of an international corporation whose customers are spread across more than 85 countries.

Rooted in the present thanks to its portfolio of high-performance technologies and products, Axens is also focused on the future and prepares for post-oil upsets on behalf of its customers.

What we can offer you

We propose that you join us through an IFP School apprenticeship/internship to discover our firm and business lines with the end objective of hiring you upon completion after you have proved yourself. You will receive the guidance of internationally renowned, very high-profile experts in their fields, as you discover and gain in-depth insights into oil refining process design.

If hired, you will then join us as a Process Design Engineer. You will participate in refining unit design around the world through unit simulations, equipment sizing as well as by establishing piping and instrumentation plans. Naturally, in all the projects you will participate in, you will attend the various meetings with customers. You will also have the opportunity to participate in unit commissioning projects, allowing you to compare your process design experience with reality on the ground.

After some years working on this assignment, which will enable you to learn through Axens’ core business, you will be offered a broad range of career advancement opportunities, including either technical-, sales- or management-oriented positions, which are either sedentary or involving frequent international mobility, or even expatriation.
